We are, as of Friday, a TV free home. (Praise the Lord!) So, in an effort to to indoctrinate my DC with something other than flashing lights and sensory over-load, we are going to dive into the deep end with books. Not just any books, but books that promote the character qualities that are important for our children to have.
For boys, we want to instill creativity, and bravery. Ingenuity and imagination (do kids even have imaginations anymore?). Leadership and diligence. We want them to be masculine and to be brought up to be leaders in their own home someday.
So all of that to say is I will be ordering a set of these books from Vision Forum.
They are the autobiographies of Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett.
