Obedient to my Husband: Deceived by a False Gospel

Can you be "saved" if you don't know the reason why you need a Saviour? If the total depravity of your soul is never mentioned to you, do you know what you are being saved from?

You are a sinner. You were born a sinner. It is a sin that is passed down from the fall in the Garden. Even if you never commit another sin in your life, you are born with original sin, and that makes you a sinner. You need to be saved from that sin.

Jesus is the ONLY way to pay the debt of your sin. If you believe that, that it was His precious Blood that paid the perfect sacrifice at Calvary for your sin, you can enter the Gates of Heaven and have eternal Life with the Father. That is real hope. Salvation cannot be earned, it cannot be taken away, and it produces fruit. It is a gift that is open to all who believe that the blood of Jesus Christ can wash you clean from your sins.

But if you don't know you are a sinner, you don't know what you need saving from.
